PSL 2021 Draft, Schedule, Timing, and Live Updates

PCB did a great job to host the PSL 2020 knockouts and the Final after a long delay due to COVID-19 situation and now we all have our eyes on the upcoming PSL 2021. Due to the disturbed schedules, the PSL 2021 draft couldn’t happen in November or December but now the PCB has given a tentative PSL 2021 draft schedule to give the cricket lovers a ray of hope. According to an announcement from the PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan, the PSL Auction 2021 will take place in January 2021 with the event starting on the same date as the PSL 5.  

We are less than a month away from the Pakistan Super League 2021 draft and it’s time we get you all the details on the PSL 6 draft schedule, timing, and how you could follow the live updates on the day of the event. This year’s draft will be a little different, however, with an open-air event under consideration in Karachi. If that couldn’t be possible then a virtual draft event might also go ahead. 

2021 PSL 6 Draft Date And Time

Anticipating a wonderful event this time around as the cricket resumes in Pakistan? Yes, you have every reason to and we are surely going to witness some exciting games of cricket at the PSL 6 as that’s become a hallmark of the event year after year. The PSL 6 draft will see some raw talent coming up like every year with some of the top names in world cricket going in for auction as they set their eyes on playing for one of the six franchises in the tournament. 

Talking about the exact PSL 6 draft date and time, PSL is yet to make an announcement on that but we do have a tentative date officially announced by Wasim Khan. According to the announcement, the PSL 2021 draft will be held somewhere in the first week of January and the exact date and time of the event will be announced in due course. We’ll keep you posted as any news is shared officially by the PCB. 

PSL 2021 Auction Venue

Even though the PSL 6 draft schedule has not yet been confirmed, what we are sure of is that the event will be hosted in Karachi with all the members of 6 franchises present. It will be an open-air event and will have a few changes from how it used to happen in the yesteryears. 

Despite the fact that the PCB has already confirmed the PSL 2021 auction venue, it is still possible that we might have to settle for a virtual auction if the coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country and the government advises so. For now, however, the National Stadium Karachi is confirmed to host the PSL 6 auction.
