As we head towards the end of the Pakistan Super League Draft, it’s time for the emerging category picks as franchises gear up to complete their squads.
Multan Sultans had the first pick in the emerging category and they have picked the young wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir. He’s been quite impressive with the bat lately and will be a treat to watch in the upcoming PSL 5.
Quetta have gone with Aarish Ali Khan in their emerging round pick. Let’s see what the young guy brings to the table for them.
Zalmi have gone with the fast bowler from Swat Amir Khan for their emerging round pick. They have a habit of bringing some great new talent to the league and Amir Khan will be a new rising star for sure.
Karachi Kings have gone with Arshad Iqbal for their emerging round pick. We haven’t seen much of him and he’d be a surprise package for everyone for sure.
Islamabad United have chosen the young quick Aaqib Javed for the emerging round pick.
Lahore Qalandars have chosen Mohammad Faizan in the emerging category. The player comes from their talent hunt program and will be explore further when the event gets underway.
PSL 5 Draft Emerging Category Round 2
Ahmad Safi Abdullah have been picked by Islamabad United in their second pick in the emerging round.
Peshawar Zalmi have gone with Amir Ali from Pakistan U-19 as their next emerging pick. He’s a promising young cricketer and would be explored at the upcoming event.
Quetta Gladiators had the next call in the emerging category and they went with the wicket-keeper batsman Azam Khan who has returned to the side.
That marks the completion of Emerging category of the PSL draft. Some promising new cricketers are going to join the PSL franchises and they’ll surely learn a great deal as they come to the PSL stage.
